Started in 1987 as a mechanic in F1 motorcycles, Superbikes and MotoGP until 1990 when he went on to the TWR Jaguar Group C and Le Mans cars. After picking up his two degrees he became a R&amp;D Engineer for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrari.com\/en-GB\">Ferrari<\/a>&nbsp;until 2000 when he left to become Senior Development Engineer at Renault F1. In 2003 he became Chief Designer for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prodrive.com\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.prodrive.com\/\">Prodrive <\/a>until joining Williams as Chief Designer in March 2006, leaving the team in May 2018. In July 2019 he joined ODQA Renewable Energy Technologies, a partnership between clean energy entrepreneurs, world-renowned scientists, Oxford Sciences Innovation and the University of Oxford developing next-generation solar systems for clean industrial heat and power.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ed Wood \u2013&nbsp;Senior Technical Adviser.
